Another year done!

Chris finished his 2nd year of Law School! Hizzah!! Only one year to go, and we are definitely counting down. He has a busy summer and 3rd year ahead of him, so of course we tried to take advantage of the 2 week break that he had after finals. Where did we go? The same place we go every time we have a vacation, Pinky... St. George. Meet baby JessLynn! She is so cute, and we are so happy for Jeremy and Lisa! We all loved to see her and hold her while we were there. Its fun to have another baby on the Burton side of the family:). Cami only had 3 days of hairschool left when we got into town, so Chris, Carter, and I went in to get our hair cut. Carter is such a good boy when Cami cuts his hair! Just happy as can be to sit and eat his sucker. A trip to the duck pond is always a must! My parents live on the hill right above the pond, so its easy and fun to take the kids down to feed the ducks some bread. There are usually a million ducks that swarm you and try to get the bread. This time they were being fat and lazy in the shade, so we had Carter chase them. Lisa and Jeremy invited us all over to crash their house for dinner. We brought some pizza, and had a good time visiting and holding little JessLynn. Chris' Grandparents were able to come up from Vegas to be there for Shari's graduation and visiting the new baby too. What a cute little family! This is the toy box that I painted for JessLynn. Grandma and Grandpa Burton are so happy to be around their grandkids! Every time we go to St. George we have a list of our favorite places to eat and try to make it to all of them. We went to Marv's twice this time! Yummy burgers and fish and chips! Heck yeah! This was a firetruck just outside one of our other favorite places to eat in St. George: Pasta Factory. Best alfredo ever! We were excited to be able to be in town for Shari's graduation! She graduated from Desert Hills Highschool. Carter had fun sharing his half-eaten pringles with everybody during the graduation. Mmm...soggy chips! Thanks carter! Whenever we come to visit, my brother Kyle brings over his guitar and gives us our own personal concert. He is getting pretty freakin good! It was really nice, and actually helped calm the storm a bit with all the kids. Carter talks about his Uncle Kyle every time he sees a guitar now. Carter loves playing with his cousins and his Grandpa! Grandpa Lyman always plays "Hide-n-seek" with them, and they love it! Carter is just starting to actually hide and stay in his hiding place (for a limited time). If you were wondering... YES, he liked his chocolate icecream cone!:) We were able to go to my niece, Allyson's, dance recital while we were there. She was so cute! Wish I would've taken a picture of her cute dance outfits! Oh, and while we were in the auditorium, Carter leaned up on what he thought was a wall... it was a curtain, and he fell down into the orchestra pit! Scary, but he was ok. We decided to take Carter hiking up on the Red Hill with Grandma and Grandpa Burton. We had a picnic lunch and then climbed up to the little caves that were close by. It was fun, but a bit sweaty :). After climbing in the hot sun, we decided it was time to go to the splash pad and to get some snow cones! And when nap time came, it was definitely nap time for all of us!
Until next time famdamily.... See you again soon!

You guys are always having a blast!! Text me sometimes when you are going to SG. I'll see if I can go down to my Aunt's. I know you are always super busy w/ fam, but maybe we could have lunch or meet at the splash pad.

    Love ya!
