Christmas vacation 2011
Carter opened his first Christmas present early, so he could watch his new movie on the way to St. George. He loves Incredibles! (And thank heavens for portable dvd players for long trips!!)
When we got to Grandma and Grandpa Lyman's house, Carter was so excited to see that his friends Ryan and Ryder were visiting their Grandma Owens next door! He had a blast jumping on the trampoline with them for the first time!

Great Grandma Kathy and Rich come to visit.
Carter and Alex are both into super heroes right now, and they were so excited to open a batmobile from Great Grandma Kathy! Then we just had to practice sharing. :)
Carter loves dogs! Especially Kyle's dog Lucy, cause she puts up with all sorts of torture from him. :)
Aunt Cami's high heels

Grandma Burton's school bus! Carter loves anything with wheels, and he was so excited to go for a ride on Grandma's bus. He had fun pretending to drive and pushing the button that opened and closed the door over and over again.
He's already the trouble maker in the back.
Carter's 1st haircut from Aunt Shari
Shari did a great job, and thanks to a huge sucker, he did a great job too.
Not only did Carter get to visit Grandma's bus, but he got to sit in some of the big trucks at Grandpa Burton's work. Who needs Disney Land right?
ROCK BAND
Carter discovered what a microphone does, and became the permanent singer/dancer when playing rockband. He didn't know the songs, but sang "jingle bells" along with everything.

Some of our very best friends, Adam and Julie Hatch (and their kids Chloe and Lincoln), stopped in St. George on their way to Phoenix. We met for breakfast and had a good time seeing eachother. We miss them, and were so glad to sneak a quick visit!
Painting with Grandpa Lyman
Chris was joking around with Carter and telling him that he was old enough to find a job now. The next day Carter woke up and said he was going to get a job painting with Grandpa Lyman.
Christmas Eve with the Lyman famdamily.
HUGS AND THANK YOU's ALL AROUND
Christmas day with the Burton bunch. (I had the stomach flu and a sinus infection on top of being pregnant on Christmas day... but we shant be talking about that)
The biggest hit for Carter was his new Woody doll.... and thank goodness he loved it, because we had all sorts of trouble getting it (long story). He carries him everywhere and even sleeps by him at night.
As a family gift we opened a hunting game on Kinect. And holy crap did we have issues getting the gun to calibrate. This is us trying to make it darker in the room, when the game kept saying there was too much light. Ridiculous, yes. And after a couple hours we realized the batteries were in the gun wrong. We can laugh about it now. :)
Carter looks just like his Grandpa Burton, sporting his new little Harley Davidson jacket. Now he just needs a license to drive one. :)
JUMP N JACKS

We had all sorts of fun with our families this Christmas vacation. Can't wait to see them again!
