Grandma and Grandpa Lyman visit!

My parents were able to come down the day after Carter's birthday and stay for the weekend! We had a good time relaxing together, playing with Carter, and going out to eat. Carter had so much fun rolling around in blankets and playing with his new hampster toy from Grandma and Grandpa. We loved having them here, and hopefully they got some good rest (with a little help from some earplugs at night-- our yard suddenly sounds like a bird sanctuary from 4:00am on! Stupid birds!!) We look forward to going to St. George soon and visiting with both our families:)




Yay for bonding time! Carter got very attached to Grandpa Lyman. They played together alot, and Carter loved to give him hugs:)

Our own zoo! Besides a buttload of birds, we also have some rabbits that live in our yard.

Carter is one year old!

This is a video of Carter eating his first birthday cake. We broke it up into two videos so that we could upload it easier. The first half worked,but I couldn't get the second part on here, and that sucks because that's when he really gets messy! I think watching him eat his little cake was the highlight of the day! It was so funny to see him slowly dive in and eventually eat ALL the frosting! He had fun with all his presents (thank you everybody!!), and definitely enjoyed the record amount of sugar that he had in one day!

One of Carter's favorites presents was this Mickey Mouse towel. He loved cuddling with it, rolling on it, and petting Mickey's face.

When Carter was all done with his cake, he was covered in purple frosting. He had frosting coming out of his nose for the next couple hours!
