Fun in February
Yes...Carter is on a leash. After his many attempts of escaping me at the mall and other places, I decided Carter needed a little tail to hold on to. He actually loves it! He loves that it is a monkey and thinks that it is fun to put it on. And I just ignore some of the looks that I get from random old people. The first time we went to kids club and he tried to make a mad dash down the mall, he realized "wait a second, I'm stuck! Take this monkey off!" But he gave up and gave in to the idea that he has to stay by me (and he still likes the monkey).
Carter has had a cough since November. His doctor finally sent us to a lung specialist at Phoenix Children's hospital, and he is doing much better! He couldn't get rid of those colds because his lungs were staying inflamed from something in the air outside. So now he has an inhaler he does twice a day, and a breathing treatment machine incase he gets really bad. We're so glad that he is finally healthy and happy!
When we visited my family for Christmas, my mom had a truck video (That was made by my Uncle Jim) at her house. Carter saw it, and was hooked! We watch it constantly and he dances the entire time! It is really fun to watch him sing and dance along!
Phoenix Zoo
Chris's parents came to visit in January and we decided to take Carter to the zoo. We knew he would love it, now that he is a bit older and knows what alot of the animals are. It was alot of fun for all of us! Carter's favorites were the giraffes, the elephants because they were so big and fun to watch.

Carter had a blast playing on the tractors there! He pretty much loves anything with wheels! They also had a little playground and a petting zoo, which was lots of fun.

Carter didn't want to ride in his stroller at all. He ended up "helping" push the stroller the entire time. He definitely got his exercise that day.

The lions were actually up and walking around! Yay, Chris can die happy now :).

Christmas in St. George
Here are a buttload of pictures from our trip to St. George. We had a lot of fun visiting our families for Christmas and the New Year! It was awesome to have such a nice long break from law school, so we could spend some quality time together.
Get it Carter! :)
Chris's Dad was so nice to take some family pictures for us. We were dumb when we packed for this trip. We were pretty freakin cold in our short sleeved shirts. What were we thinking that we wouldn't need any coats or sweaters??
We took a little side trip to Las Vegas to visit Chris's grandparents. Carter liked playing in Great Grandma's wheelchair and riding on their treadmill.

In St. George we went to a place called Jumpin Jacks, where they have all these bouncy houses and slides. Carter absolutely loved it!
Watch out people, Carter has power steering!! He was a little nervous about his new four-wheeler at first, but he is getting more daring, and likes to ride it around the house.
<
Lisa and Jeremy brought over a dvd of the ultra sound they had done to find out what they are having. Its a girl!! And we are so excited for them!
Cars, cars, and more cars! Carter was in heaven with all the new cars and trucks he got for Christmas. And the Disney Car movie is now watched on a daily basis at our house.
We went to feed the ducks at the golf course pond below my parents' house. The ducks swarmed all around us and the kids had fun feeding them bread. We had to watch out for the geese.. they are hungry and are not shy!

Carter got his first haircut (besides by me, which doesn't count)done by his Aunt Cami. I thought it would be a nightmare, but he was so good! He was excited to sit on a cars booster seat, eat a sucker, and be with his Aunt.:) Cami did my hair too, and gave me a nice short hairstyle.
Carter enjoyed taking all of Grandma Lyman's ornaments off the tree and bringing them to her.
Carter and Alex were eating a tortilla together "Lady and the Tramp" style. It was funny.
Ally and Alex love to wrestle and play with their Uncle Chris! Chris is always having fun entertaining the little guys:).
Yahoo fer rockband!! Carter was the offical dancer of the band. He stood right by the tv and danced the entire time!
"Vroom vroom!" Grandpa Burton showed Carter one of their motorcycles and he got so excited! He loves anything with wheels, but trucks and motorcycles are his favorite.
Chris's dad had a Santa suit handy, so he dressed up for Carter. He started with waving from a distance and ended up giving him hugs
.
We had a great trip, and hope to see our families again soon!
