A big fat ball of stress... that's me.

The last couple of weeks have been kinda crazy. We had to do some traveling to be with family for both happy and sad reasons. . .

First, came the sad... We flew up to Salt Lake to be with Chris's family, because his Grandpa Burton passed away. It was rough for Chris, but he gave an excellent talk at the funeral about good memories and all the things that his grandpa had taught him through the years. We were glad that we were able to be there with his family, and participate in the funeral.


Our next trip was 5 days later. We drove up to St. George for my brother Kyle's wedding. It was a long drive and a quick trip, but there's no way that we would've missed it. Kyle seemed really happy, and we are happy for him. It was fun to visit with all the relatives that came. We also got to spend some more time with the Burton family. We stayed with Chris's sister Lisa and her husband Jeremy, where Carter had a lot of fun playing and watching their dog "Kitty" run around.

On both trips, Carter didn't sleep very well. Soooo, it was a little rough running on little to no sleep. Traveling with a baby can be the opposite of vacation. Carter likes to be home in his own bed with his usual schedule. But, he did do pretty freakin good in the car this time around, and did better than I thought on the airplane. Also, its hard for Chris to take time away from school in the middle of the semester. We are both looking forward to being home now and trying to get a bit of relaxation at some point. Chris has some catching up to do, and I've been dealing with some headache issues that are supposedly caused by too much stress. So just relax right? Rrrriiiight.
